Well, as you can see, it is cake season at our house. Georgia's birthday on May 20th and Gabe's on May 28th.
4 batches of cupcakes for classrooms, a cake for each party....I'm just taking Gabe's cake out of the oven now for his party tomorrow!
When I was little, it was always a treat to get the cake bowl when mom was finished pouring out the batter...so now it's my kids turn to have "the bowl".

Georgia had some friends over for a birthday party on the weekend. They had alot of fun!

Initiation

Scott's training is intense and stressfull.
Recently he and his course mates were initiated into their current phase of training by the phase before them as a kind-of stress release.  Here are some pictures of the scavenger hunt around the city...keep in mind...these are grown men... :)

Wow! Where did the time go?
This time, nine years ago, Scott and I were holding our newborn baby girl for the first time.
Now look at her! sniff-sniff
Father, help me to raise this girl to chase after you, to stay tucked under Your wing.

Georgia had a class trip today to her teacher's home here in Portage, and it was also her ninth birthday.
I brought some cupcakes so that her class could celebrate.

She wanted Pizza Hut for supper, so that's what she got!
We are so blessed to have this girl!

Blessings

The Lord is so good to me!
The Lord has done so much for me in the last few years that I have been hesitant to ask Him for much more, but He keeps on filling up my cup.
He has brought me a friend since I have moved to Portage that is becoming dearer every day.
My Wendy friend. Lovely in every way.
"What was I saying?" Is a common question we ask between the circus of 6 children that call "mommy" just when we get to the good part. Oh well, they are often the topic of our conversations anyway. They get along great too. (Yes she has 4 children!)
There are alot of years we are trying to catch up on.

I'll post some recent pictures of Wendy and I and the munchkins, but you may have to scroll for them a bit as I am still trying to figure out how to post them together. Remember...I am still a blogger newbee!
